With dual heat zones powered by two independently controlled burners, you can prepare multiple dishes at different temperatures at the same time.
The 28” Omnivore Griddle also includes side shelves with built-in tool hooks to keep your utensils within easy reach, along with the customizable BAR System for attaching and organizing accessories. A rear grease management system directs grease and debris to the back for fast cleanup, while the electric push-button ignition ensures a reliable start every time. Two caster wheels provide smooth mobility so you can easily reposition the griddle when needed.
Questions & Answers
How do I season my griddle?
Start by wiping down the surface with warm, soapy water and a dish towel to remove any dust or residue, then rinse thoroughly. Heat the griddle on high until the surface changes color. Using tongs to hold a paper towel or cloth, apply two to three tablespoons of seasoning oil in a thin, even layer. As the griddle heats, the oil will bond to the surface and create a protective coating. When the smoking stops, the seasoning is set. Repeat this process three to four times for your initial seasoning. It is normal for food to stick during the first few cooks—just keep applying oil before and after each use, and your seasoning will improve over time.
What should I do between cooks?
Before cooking, lightly coat the griddle surface with oil. After cooking, scrape and clean the surface, then apply a thin layer of cooking oil or conditioner to protect it until the next use.
Which oil is best to use?
Blackstone developed its own blend of Seasoning and Cast Iron Conditioner, which combines the best qualities of multiple oils for consistent seasoning results.
How do I clean my griddle top?
Clean your griddle as you would cast iron. Use minimal water, avoid soap, and always finish by applying a light coat of oil to preserve your seasoning.
