Featuring two independently controlled heat zones and a Rear Grease Management System, you can heat it up quickly and clean up easily when the meal’s done. Its portable design makes it ideal for travel, so you can cook whatever you want, whenever and wherever you are.

Features & Specs

The Original 22” Griddle is built with Omnivore Griddle Plate Technology, delivering faster preheating, quicker recovery times, even heat distribution, and improved fuel efficiency while using fewer BTUs. Integrated wind guards help retain heat by blocking out the cold. The griddle comes with an integrated hood to shield the surface and keep it clean between uses.

With dual heat zones, two independently controlled burners allow you to cook different foods at different temperatures simultaneously. The Rear Grease Management System directs grease and scraps to the back for simple cleanup. For a reliable start every time, the griddle uses a piezo ignition system that makes startup easy and dependable.

Questions & Answers

How do I season my griddle?
Clean the surface with warm, soapy water and a dish towel, then rinse thoroughly. Heat the griddle on high until the surface changes color. Using tongs and a paper towel or cloth, apply two to three tablespoons of oil in a thin, even layer. As the oil heats, it will smoke and form a protective, nonstick coating. When the smoking stops, the layer is set. Repeat three to four times for the initial seasoning. Food may stick during early use, but regular cooking and oiling before and after each session will build a stronger seasoning.

What should I do between cooking sessions?
Before each cook, apply a light layer of oil to the surface. After cooking, scrape clean, then spread a thin coat of oil or conditioner evenly across the griddle to protect it until the next use.

Which oil is best?
Blackstone developed its own blend of Seasoning and Cast Iron Conditioner, designed to deliver consistent results and long-lasting seasoning.

How should I clean my griddle top?
Treat it like cast iron cookware. Use minimal water, never soap, and always finish with a light layer of oil to preserve the seasoning and prevent rust.
