30” Drop-in Griddle

The 30” Drop-in Griddle delivers high efficiency with three separate heat zones, each controlled independently and equipped with digital readouts that display the real-time temperature of each zone. Designed with Omnivore Griddle Plate Technology, it preheats faster, distributes heat more evenly, and provides greater fuel efficiency. Built-in wind guards and enhanced heat control make it simple to cook anything from breakfast to dinner with precision.

Please refer to the manual for required cavity dimensions before installation.

Features & Specs

This griddle uses Omnivore Griddle Plate Technology, offering faster preheating, quick recovery times, even heat distribution, and better fuel efficiency with lower BTU requirements. Wind guards are integrated to retain heat and keep cold air out. Three independent heat zones give you the versatility to prepare main dishes and sides at the same time, each at its ideal temperature.

A front-access rear grease drawer streamlines cleanup, channeling grease and debris away while keeping the griddle surface clear. Each control knob features a digital temperature display for accurate, real-time monitoring. The temperature range is adjustable from 120°F to 600°F, giving you the flexibility to cook low and slow or at searing heat.

Installation requires hardwiring by a qualified professional, as no power plugs are included. Electrical requirements are 240V / 5400W.

Questions & Answers

How do I season the griddle?
Begin by cleaning the surface with warm, soapy water and a dish towel to remove dust or residue, then rinse and dry. Heat the griddle on high until the surface changes color. Using tongs with a paper towel or cloth, spread two to three tablespoons of seasoning oil in a thin, even layer across the top. Thin layers bond best, creating a protective nonstick polymer coating. When the smoking stops, the layer is set. Repeat three to four times for a strong initial seasoning. Some sticking may occur during the first few uses, but applying a thin coat of oil before and after cooking will improve the surface over time. Since the griddle top is steel, resurfacing and re-seasoning is always possible if needed.

What should I do between cooks?
Before each use, apply a very thin layer of oil to the surface. After cooking, scrape clean, wipe down, and add another light coat of oil or conditioner spread evenly with a paper towel. This maintains seasoning and protects the steel from moisture.

Which oil is best?
Blackstone developed its own blend, the Blackstone Seasoning & Cast Iron Conditioner, which combines the best qualities of multiple oils for consistent seasoning results and superior performance.

How should I clean the griddle top?
Clean it like cast iron. Use minimal water, never soap, and always finish by applying a thin layer of oil to protect the seasoned surface and prevent rust.
